So as a long time Android user, I can show you a screenshot of my commute yesterday versus today. I have at least 10 points on my 30 minute commute. Compare that to today where I get only 1 midpoint update during my commute. Really it just showed me going from home to lab to school. Can we please get increased update frequency similar to the Android version? And it seems like sometimes it REQUIRES GPS signal to update the location? Can't it just rely on cell tower approximation like Android's latitude background updates?

It would be great if gMaps could download vector maps, cause right now maps are loading super slow compared to Android. I will gladly buy your app as soon as Microsoft supports Polish Marketplace :-)

The traffic layer is updated when the whole map is reloaded (zoom in/out), even not in driver mode. I use gmaps a lot for traffic info having the complete route on the screen (no scrolling, no map reloads). Traffic layer is almost not up to date. I suggest a update cycle for the traffic layer. Update period shall be adjustable by user. (5min - inf)

gMaps is very slow on my Nokia Lumia 800... compared to Bing Maps Although features of gMaps are far better then Bing Maps, i tend to use Bing Maps more, because gMaps is so slow... Please look at performance !

My sumsung focus's GPS in not quite accurate,so I think that if the gMaps could enable GPS correction, it would be great. Once corrected GPS data according to my current position, when I use gMaps again it would save my gps's adjustment . PS:my god on the map is always 20m east & 10m north compared to my actual location. There is a app named LR MAPS on the market and it has the GPS adjustment, I hope gMaps could have this function too.

I only wanted this app for latitude and since day 1 it hasn't worked, I had to wait till 1.16 before I could log in to latitude and with the so called update to 1.17 it is back to square 1 and non functional. Your a con artist and a thief and I want my money back.
